MOHIT ANAND, MANAGING DIRECTOR, INDIA AND SOUTH ASIA, KELLOGG INDIA PVT. LTD
Mohit Anand is Managing Director, India and South Asia for Kellogg Company. He is also a member of the company’s Asia Pacific leadership team.
He is the chief architect of the company’s performance with the purpose of nourishing families through nutritious foods that Kellogg’s offers.
Mr. Anand is a well-rounded leader with over two decades of proven leadership experience spread across two FMCG global conglomerates, Unilever & Procter & Gamble.
Mr. Anand joins Kellogg from Unilever where his last assignment was spearheading a high potential future focussed water purification category for the company in the capacity of the Global Vice President based out of London. Prior to that, he leading the growth and transformation agenda for Unilever through Lipton, world’s #1 tea brand, with a presence in over 110 countries. In his role in refreshments category within the company, he led the South Asia and Africa operations for Ice Cream & Dessert brands (Walls, Magnum) and market leading Tea brands (Brooke Bond, Taj) to record growth & market shares.
Before joining Unilever, Mr. Anand spent 15 years in Procter & Gamble working on a variety of assignments including spearheading marketing for the Asia Pacific region.
Mr. Anand holds a Master’s degree in Management Studies in Marketing from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies and a Bachelor’s in Engineering (Production) from Punjab Engineering College.
He is married and has two sons.
SAURABH LAL, DIRECTOR – SUPPLY CHAIN, KELLOGG INDIA
Saurabh Lal is the Director - Supply Chain, Kellogg India.
He started his career with Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (HUL) in 1995, as a Management Trainee. In his last role with Unilever, he was working as Manufacturing Director at Unilever Sri Lanka. He then served as the Director - Operations at Avery Dennison, a global leader in labelling and packaging materials solutions. Before joining Kellogg Company, Mr. Lal was CEO - Manufacturing & Supply Chain at Future Consumer Limited, where he was instrumental in building the manufacturing and supply chain catering to the emerging food trends.
Mr. Lal brings over 20 years of rich supply chain experience, having successfully led large teams as well as multiple production and warehousing sites across industries.
Mr. Lal is a mechanical engineer from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar and is a certified TPM instructor.
He is married and has two daughters.
JASPINDER SINGH VOHRA DIRECTOR - SOUTH ASIA, KELLOGG INDIA
Jaspinder Singh Vohra is the Director - South Asia, Kellogg India. He is responsible for looking after the business vertical in South Asia markets (Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal, Maldives & Bangladesh).
Mr. Vohra has been with the company for close to 10 years and has successfully led the sales division for North & West regions for Kellogg India. He was instrumental in setting up the Modern Trade & Alternate Channel for the organization.
He had a long association with Gillette India for 19 years where he worked across Finance and Sales functions. Post which, he moved to Reliance Retail as General Manager Operation for Delhi Cluster.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a Master of Business Administration degree with specialization in Marketing from the Lucknow University.
He is married and has two sons. When not travelling across the South Asia markets, Mr. Vohra can be found playing Chess, Table Tennis and Cricket or simply listening to music.
DINESH CHARAK, DIRECTOR - LEGAL, KELLOGG INDIA
Dinesh Charak has been Director Legal, Kellogg India, since June 2016.
Prior to joining Kellogg Company, Mr. Charak served in a variety of leadership roles at Novartis India Limited, Wipro GE Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. and Nokia India Private Limited, amongst others. At Novartis India, he was the Country General Counsel and Compliance Head and also a member of the Novartis India Board of Directors.
Prior to that, Mr. Charak served as Senior Legal Counsel for GE Healthcare South Asia business.
He received a Bachelor’s degree in Law from National Law School of India University.
He is married and has a daughter. Besides reading law books, Mr. Charak has a keen interest in reading thriller fiction. When not found at work, he is probably driving to the mountains for inspiration and peace.
GAURAV SHARMA, DIRECTOR - SALES, KELLOGG INDIA
Gaurav Sharma has been Director Sales, Kellogg India, since July 2015.
Prior to joining Kellogg Company, Mr. Sharma served in a variety of leadership roles in Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain & Operations at Mondelez, Subhiksha and Conagra Foods. At Mondelez, in his last role, Mr. Sharma led the Customer Service & Logistics function and was a part of the India leadership team of the Mondelez Organisation.
Prior to that, Mr. Sharma led the Modern Trade & South Asia market for Mondelez, being responsible for operations in Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka & Maldives.
He received a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade and a Master of Business Administration degree.
PADMAPARNA DASGUPTA, DIRECTOR - REGULATORY AFFAIRS, KELLOGG INDIA
Mrs Parna Dasgupta has been Director Regulatory Affairs, Kellogg India, since May 2015.
Prior to joining Kellogg, Mrs. Dasgupta served in a variety of leadership roles in the field of Policy, Regulatory and Government Affairs at GSK Consumer Healthcare India, Amarchand Mangaldas, Reliance Retail Agri Supply Chain and FICCI’s Food division.
At GSK Consumer Healthcare India, she was Director, Regulatory, Strategy and External Affairs and was responsible for the compliance and policy advocacy for the nutrition business worldwide.
Prior to that, Mrs. Dasgupta was Senior Consultant with M/s Amarchand Mangaldas, one of the largest corporate law firms of India where she set up and led the food policy division and was responsible for securing the position of legal consultant for FSSAI.
Mrs. Dasgupta received a Master’s degree in Economics.
Besides her keen interest in the areas of food and nutrition, particularly those impacting the under privileged section of the society, Mrs. Dasgupta has a keen interest in history and hence loves reading historical novels and travelling to historical places.
PALLAV PATNI, DIRECTOR – FINANCE, KELLOGG INDIA
Pallav Patni has been Director Finance, Kellogg India, since June 2015.
Prior to joining Kellogg Company, Mr. Patni served in a variety of leadership roles at PepsiCo India for over a decade. His last role at PepsiCo India was Commercial Finance Director where he led the finance agenda for sales and marketing functions.
Prior to that, Mr. Patni served as Head of Business Strategy and Financial Planning & Analysis at PepsiCo India and has also worked with Hindustan Unilever in the initial phase of his career.
Mr. Patni has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree.
He is married and has a son. His personal interests include listening to music, singing & watching movies.
PURNENDU P ROY, DIRECTOR - RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT, KELLOGG ASPAC EMERGING MARKET
Purnendu P Roy has been Director- Research & Development, Breakfast category, Kellogg ASPAC Emerging Market, since February, 2014.
Prior to joining Kellogg Company, Mr. Roy served in a variety of R&D leadership roles at H J Heinz, Britannia, and PepsiCo in Frito-Lay’s division, Glaxo SmithKline Consumer Healthcare. At Heinz India Pvt Ltd., he was Associate Vice President for R&D & was also the functional lead for Asia & Africa region for dairy based nutritional beverage & energy drinks.
Prior to that, Mr. Roy served as General Manger & Head of Research & Development in Britannia Industries Ltd.
He received a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering & Technology and Master’s in Food Technology.
ROHIT KUMAR, DIRECTOR - HR, KELLOGG INDIA
Rohit Kumar has been Director HR, Kellogg India, since December 2016.
Mr. Kumar’s career reflects a rich & diverse experience in HR Business Partnering, Talent Management, Organization Effectiveness and Employee Relations. He joined Kellogg from Sanofi India Ltd, where he was the Director Business HR for Pharma, Consumer Healthcare & Pasteur divisions. He was responsible for the organization’s effectiveness initiatives, talent management processes, and employee relations for a diversified workforce. He led projects on assessing and de-risking talent pipelines and spearheading long term settlements with unions.
Mr. Kumar started his career with Apollo Tyres Ltd and served at Gillette India where he partnered Sales & Marketing and Supply Chain. He also spent several years in Vodafone in several senior HR roles with national and international stints.
Mr. Kumar has done his Masters in Personnel Management (MPM).
He is married and has two daughters. His personal interests include cooking and playing squash.
SUMIT MATHUR, DIRECTOR - MARKETING, KELLOGG INDIA
Sumit Mathur is Director - Marketing for Kellogg India & South Asia. He is also a member of the company’s Asia Pacific Commercial Leadership Team.
Prior to joining Kellogg India, Mr. Mathur has over a decade of Marketing and General Management experience with Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (HUL). He has a rich cross-category experience in Personal Care, Tea and Ice-cream, where he has held multiple leadership positions. Amongst various accolades, Mr. Mathur was instrumental in the launch of Magnum brand in India.
He holds a Graduate degree in B. Tech from IIT Delhi and Master’s Degree in Management from IIM Calcutta.
He is married and has a daughter. He is an avid reader and practices meditation in his free time.
ASFAR KHAN, DIRECTOR IT, KELLOGG INDIA
Asfar Khan has joined Kellogg South Asia in July 2018.
Mr Khan comes to Kellogg South Asia with a rich experience of over 19+ years. Prior to joining Kellogg Company, Asfar served in a variety of IT leadership roles at Coca-Cola, Wal-Mart, Bharti etc. in India and abroad primarily focusing in the areas of developing, implementing and managing IT systems across Consulting, Telecom, Retail & CPG domain.
Just prior to joining Kellogg Company, Mr. Khan served as Chief Technology Officer at Hindustan Coca-Cola with responsibilities to manage all technology deployments and build the strategy foot print for Vision 2020 & IT 2025 along with formulation of the company's enterprise architecture and business system plans.
He has received an B-Tech degree in Computer Sciences and an EPM from Berkeley.
He is married and has a daughter and a son. His personal interests include reading books with a variety of genres, experimenting on food and exploring technology as it evolves.
